In order to transfer data from a PC to a web server, they do not need to be copied individually. There are various methods for solving the problem: for example, synchronize directories or redirect disks from a local device to a VPS using an RDP client. The second information transfer method will be described below.
Please note that you can synchronize multiple directories using BitTorrent.
How to set up RDP
First of all, you need to go into the RDP file settings (right-click on it, call the context menu and click “Edit”) and enable the ability to forward local data to the VPS.
A menu will appear, in the lower left corner you need to click on the parameters and open the tab with local resources. For further settings, click on “Details”.
A window will open, the column “Disks” must be fully expanded. In the list that appears, the partitions and media intended for forwarding to VPS are checked .
You can check the changes through the “My Computer” section located on the virtual server.
